Looking back on the Thanksgiving
holiday and on completing our first year of Kids Without Stuff blogging, I
thought it would be nice to write a post saying ‘thank you’ and giving
gratitude to StarShine; the kids, teachers and volunteers.
I am especially grateful for….
All the
StarShine kids I have had the privilege to know.
Ms. Mosca’s,
2nd grade teacher, who made me laugh over her story about the
chicken funeral. (Read: The Chicken Passed)
The proud
experience of taking the high school girls to the Ritz Carlton Hotel for lunch.
(Read: Fashion Club Girls Go to the Ritz)
The everyday
good manners the StarShine students display. (Read: Great Manners and Kids Without Stuff)
Time spent
browsing the used book stores for requested books.
Thank you all for sharing your books,
laughs and tears with me.
