Tuesday I
dropped by StarShine to pick up some papers. I was amazed at the quiet orderly
atmosphere on the campus. Everything looked neat and clean at a campus with
almost 130 students ranging from Kindergarten to 12th grade.
I visited
with my friend Dory, in the office, who had my papers organized and ready.
Then
I had a hug from Maria in the kitchen.
I stopped by to see Mr. Dan, the best
kindergarten teacher in the universe.
I also had a pleasant conversation with
Mr. Dawson, the 5th & 6th grade teacher. He was
immaculately dressed in suit, shirt and tie, and has probably the brightest and
politest students I have ever seen in those grades. Lucky kids to have such a
fine teacher.
Everywhere I
looked I found calmness and confidence.
What is so amazing is that in just 5 days
on Monday, December 12th the entire school will be packed up and
moved to a new location.
I love being
a part of StarShine and every time I’m there I feel like the luckiest person in
the world. I guess that is all part of THE
STARSHINE EFFECT.
